The Developmental Response System™ (DRS)
At the heart of our training is our proprietary educational methodology: the Developmental Response System (DRS). We are moving away from outdated, reactive behavior management. Instead, DRS is an educational framework that equips adults to proactively build psychological and relational safety.
The training system is built on three core educational pillars:

Meet the Founder
Rico’s Development was founded out of a critical realization: human behavior is deeply misunderstood, and the systems designed to support it are operating in silos.
Armed with a Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Development and over a decade of frontline experience in behavioral health, Channelle saw firsthand how systemic burnout and disconnected care were failing our communities. She realized we didn't just need better training; we needed a completely new operating system for human connection.
To solve this, Channelle developed the DRS Framework. The DRS model wasn't engineered in an ivory tower; it was forged from ten years of real-world, clinical, and developmental application. It is designed to bridge the gap between high-level psychological theory and the everyday realities of classrooms, clinics, and living rooms. It is a proprietary methodology built to decode behavior, alleviate burnout, and equip leaders with the tools to build truly relational environments.
